CE Tests approval
Psychotherapy.net offers Continuing Education credits with most of our articles, interviews and videos, at an additional cost. Psychotherapists (Psychologists, Marriage & Family Therapists, Counselors) and other mental health professionals with a variety of levels of experience will benefit from these tests. We are approved for a wide variety of professional associations and boards. See our CE Approvals List for detailed information about the boards and associations that have approved us.
Please note that the instructors that appear in our videos have been compensated for their participation.
Home-study and on-line credits
Our Continuing Education tests are approved for home study and online CE Credits. Most associations and boards allow all or part of CE credits to be obtained online or in home study tests. See our CE Approvals List and check with your board to find out the details.
Purchasing CE Credits for video, articles and interviews
CE tests are included with membership and course purchases, a purchased academy course will include the associated CE tests, and a membership purchase will include CE tests for all included articles and videos.
Taking your test
You can take your CE test for an individual video or article by going to the Learning Portal which you can find on your 'My Account' page after logging in. From there, find your course either in the 'Catalog' or 'My Learning' section of your portal. Begin the course then click the 'Take CE Test' button to begin the test. Fill out the answers and submit the test. You will have three attempts at the test, please reach out to customerservice@psychotherapy.net if you have run out of attempts.
Printing your Certificate of Completion
Once you have passed your test, you will be able to access and print your Certificate of Completion from your account. Go to your Learning Portal then go to the 'Certificates' tab. If the certificates are greyed out, you will need to go to the 'Profile' tab on the learning portal, go to 'Credentials Details' then add a credential. You can then download/view your certificate. We keep your certificates in your account indefinitely, so you can print them whenever it is convenient to you. You can use the certificate to complete the CE paperwork required by your board. Psychotherapy.net does not submit any documentation to licensing boards.
